Body itches and HSV genitalis?
Over a week ago, I first noticed a rash on the top of my glans—itchy, slightly burning, and mainly painful when retracting the foreskin.
Now, most HSV genitalis symptoms seem to match (had unprotected oral sex three weeks ago). A large red area on the glans and inside the foreskin (especially the top part), swollen lymph nodes, and throat pain.
But I also have some symptoms not commonly linked to HSV—persistent full-body itching (arms, torso, back, legs, face) and now some loss of taste. After three weeks, I still don’t see the classic white-filled blisters often mentioned.
Could this be something else? Since there are no visible blisters yet, a swab test isn’t an option. Retracting my foreskin is getting harder by the day…
